Third Time's the Charm! Week 3 Messages and Schedule

This week, we're looking forward to not one, not two, but three matches. Fitting for the third week of the season! I'm sure that, despite some challenging matches ahead of us, this week looks bright.

Week Three Schedule

Monday: Possibility of rain. Practice is still scheduled for 3:30 to 5:00 PM, but check your emails before coming in case our situation changes.


Tuesday: Match against Carlsbad at Carlsbad High School



We will be playing on Tuesday, March 16th, against Carlsbad High School at Carlsbad. The match will take place at 3:15 PM, and class release is at 1:40 PM.


Please be at Carlsbad for warm ups by 2:30 PM on March 16th. The tennis courts are located on Valley Street and Basswood Avenue. Click here to see the map of the tennis court.


For the match against Carlsbad, we ask that all players on Varsity come. Because Carlsbad has extra courts and additional players, we have a unique opportunity to play more matches against players at a similar level to us. If you don't have a ride and can't find one, please fill out the TSS form and we will try to arrange a ride for you.


Wednesday: Match against Canyon Crest Academy at Westview High School. The match will take place at 3:15 PM, and class release is at 2:20 PM.


Please be at Westview for warm ups by 2:30 PM on March 17th. We have updated our spectator guidelines:


Immediate household members are allowed to come to competitions and practices. Two gates will remain open for spectators: the visitor entrance to the stadium, and the pedestrian gate on the back ramp closest to the baseball field.
Spectators must have their masks on, and must stay socially distant with people outside of their households. Additionally, spectators are not allowed on the courts. Because we will not be symptom checking household members who are spectating, they may not at any time be within 6 feet of our athletes.

Thursday: Match against La Costa Canyon at Westview High School. The match will take place at 3:15 PM, and class release is at 2:30 PM.


Please be at Westview for warm ups by 2:30 PM on March 18th. The same spectator guidelines apply.


Friday: OFF

  • We're still missing many donations! Please make sure to bring a check in the amount of $335, as soon as you can. As a reminder, this money will go toward uniforms, the tennis program, the banquet, lights, windscreens for the courts, and sweatshirts. Checks should be made out to 'Westview Foundation – Groups and Clubs' with the memo 'Boys Tennis' or 'Girls Tennis.'
