Week Four Schedule
Monday: Match against Sage Creek at Sage Creek High School
2:45 PM | Visitors Parking Lot (see interactive map below, or open in a new window.)
Our match on Monday, March 22nd, will be against Sage Creek at Sage Creek High School. The match will take place at 3:15 PM, and class release is at 1:40 PM.
Please be at Sage Creek for warm ups by 2:45 PM on March 22nd. The tennis courts are behind the school at the top of the hill. Please park in the visitors lot and enter the grounds to the left of the Performing Arts Center. Because Sage Creek will warm up early, we should have six courts on which to warm up if we arrive at 2:45. Although warm-up will begin at 2:45, we encourage you to arrive at Sage Creek at 2:30 in order to be at the courts by 2:45.
Please take note of the following logistical information, which has been provided by Sage Creek and adapted for this post:
Masks must be worn by everyone on campus. Players are allowed two spectators each, and they must be household members. Players may take masks off while playing, but they must put their masks on again after the set is over. No handshakes at the end of set.
Social Distancing should be maintained at all times.
Parking: Please park in the visitors lot and enter the grounds to the left of the Performing Arts Center. The courts are behind the school and up the hill.
Bathrooms: Bathrooms will be available, but all players must come dressed to play. All players must bring their own water and hand sanitizer.
Designated area: There is a single bench outside the courts. This bench, and the area behind it, including the hardscape, will be Westview's designated area. Sage Creek's designated area will be the triple bleacher.
Physical Trainers: A physical trainer will be on campus.
Warm-up: Sage Creek will arrive early to warm up. By arriving at 2:45 PM, Westview should have all 6 courts on which to warm up. The match is planned to start shortly after 3 PM.
Lineups: Lineups will be exchanged prior to the match. Substitutions must be announced before that player or players may enter the court.
Order of play: In order to get more bodies on the courts and to help with social distancing, the order of play will be Doubles, Singles, Mixed Doubles. Sage Creek will be flexible about filling open courts with matches where both or all players are available.
Determining who serves: Instead of spinning racquets, Sage Creek will choose the first (doubles) and third round (mixed doubles). Westview chooses for the second round (singles).
Scoring: Westview has decided on ad scoring for matches, which may be reevaluated if matches go too long.
Coaching: Coaching for 30 seconds is allowed on changeovers but not during a tie-breaker. Coaches may help with rules and scoring of tie-breakers. Only active players and coaches may enter the courts. If the final match or matches are on the back courts, we may move them to the front courts on a changeover.

Other Messages
As we prepare for our fundraising efforts through alternate means this season, we ask that you prepare or have in mind a list of emails or contacts that we will be able to ask to donate.
Because of our compacted schedule, we often have practices during the weekends. We strongly suggest that you come to these practices, which will be announced on the Discord.
As a friendly reminder, we represent our school and its reputation. When we visit other schools, and indeed at all times, we need to remain respectful of the other team. We also want to show team pride, so when our teammates are playing, we want to support them as much as possible.
If you're on mobile, we encourage you to join us on the Wix Spaces app by clicking the banner at the top of the page.
Would you be able to post or email the weekends practices to parents too?
Yes you are correct 👍
Daniel would you email the week 4 too
